Watch ‘Train collision in Egypt’ – Sputnik

A locomotive collided with a passenger train in central Egypt, causing at least one death and around 20 injuries, the country’s Ministry of Health stated.

As a result of the accident, two carriages of the train, which was traveling from Aswan to Cairo, fell into the Ibrahimiya Canal. According to local media, three foreign women were among the injured – citizens of Malaysia and Colombia.
